So after I changed and packed take my bags, I booked a cab, Still, no contractions. I can't feel pain or anything. I brought with me an extra bath towel just in case I leaked inside the cab. ( dont wanna be fucked by the Uncle Driver ) It's like 30mins drive since I stay in Tampines. My husband called me halfway to ask how I am and that he reached the hospital already.
Checked in at the counter before 7pm, the nurse assisted us into the ward (ward 32) and bring the other papers he need to sign up into the room too. I wear my hospital gown and was told to take out everything.
My gynae came in and checked my cervix to see how dilated I am. Haaayy..2cm still. So gave me a dose of pitocin to induce labor coz I'm not contracting yet. She talk me into taking epidural as the contractions may kick in anytime after the dosage given. I was like, no... maybe I'll wait. After 15mins, i felt it...OUCH!! its a mix of pain, nervousness and excitednesss. Ouch! contractions are like every 30 seconds. I went ahead and asked for epi.
It was heaven. I got to rest for a while and send messages to my family in the Philippines so as my close friends here in Singapore. Told my husband to go back home and change as he's from work when we meet at the hospital.

That's me..waiting. and a monitor to check my contractions.
They check my dilation every 4 hours. Nothing changed, My husband came back before 12 midnight and stayed beside me. We chat from time to time but asked me to take a rest. My contactions are just few seconds apart and im not dilating. Baby's heartbeat is so fast that they worry I might go for a C-sec. 2am the same! If Hugo's heartbeat don't stabilize at 3am then they will prepare the Operating room for me. I cried!!! not because I'm scared of the operation but because Hugo is getting stressed. My husband calm me down and I lie down on my left side and I kept talking to baby.AT 3am, the nurse came in and say the baby's heartbeat is better. Few minutes before 4am, I asked the head nurse to check my dilation because I feel like pooping. And yeah.. Im ready to push! yeaaay! After an hour of pushing, Hugo was born at 5:29am of August 17, 2013. My angel. What a feeling! Overwhelming joy that I burst into tears.
