In mama-baby world, nothing ignites controversy more than public breastfeeding. I even came accross a question in a forum of mums asking if breastfeeding in public is legal. Well of course YES! I really don't understand why some people find it awkward or offensive or for some...think its gross.
In my country, public breastfeeding is a norm. I grew up seeing my mum breastfed my young brothers, neighbors and friends. I never felt awkward of the sight, in fact...these mums never asked you to look anyway.
Luckily,in Singapore, where breastfeeding is very much supported, there's an abundance of nursing rooms around. Almost every malls that i visited have nursing rooms. So for mums who are so anxious to feed your LO's in public...worry no more!
The following photos were just some of the nursing rooms I visited over the past few months.

Changi City point has nursing rooms on Lvl 1,2, and 3. Those photos are at Lv 1, more spacious than the other too. like the ambience and wall paper too. Just that the only thing that seperates the nursing room is a curtain so privacy is a 2/5 stars.

The next photos are at Marina Square. They have various nursing rooms at levels 1-4. Its well decorated with sink and H&C water dispenser. I went there on a weekday and nursing rooms are fully utilized. I had to wait a while for my turn to feed my Hugo. After 10mins feeding, he fell asleep. Put him down for a while to snap photos.
This Nursing Room at Bedok Point though minimally decorated but is relatively clean. It has a H&C water dispenser and sink. No waiting area for daddy unless he's willing to stand inside. Privacy is compromised as the seperation is only the curtain. I feed my Hugo there for 15mins and the door opened 4times with people just going in to get water.
Plaza Singapura Nursing room at level 3. Spacious with the diaper changing area and nursing room seperated. Good thing that nursing room have a door that can be locked but there's only one so you might have to wait for youe turn too. Clean and nicely decorated.
